A lifelong resident of Hunterdon County NJ, Jason Rega appreciates the value a well-designed, properly-maintained sports field offers everyone involved—athletes, owners and fans. Proper field conditions are crucial to the players’ safety. Healthy athletes spend more time on the field and less time on the bench recovering.
“It’s all about safety,” said Jason. “A well-constructed, properly-groomed baseball or softball field will reduce an athlete’s risk for injury, not to mention the owner’s liability.”
This philosophy led Jason to start Sports Field Services LLC (SFS), a company dedicated to the construction, renovation and maintenance of safe, attractive baseball and softball fields.
“We want to give players the conditions that allow them to perform at the top of their game,” said Jason. “This is as important at the Little League and academic levels as it is at the professional level.”
Since its inception, SFS has built or renovated hundreds of baseball and softball fields in the New Jersey / Pennsylvania area.
“We want the players to focus on their game, not on the condition of the batter’s box or the pitcher’s mound or the infield. That’s our concern.”
SFS also offers field maintenance services and, as an alternative, hosts workshops to train grounds crews on the latest techniques for keeping their fields in top shape.
“Constructing or renovating a ball field, when done right, is a sizable investment,” said Jason. “We want our clients to enjoy the benefits of our work for many years to come.”

Sports Field Services LLC (SFS), established in 2019, offers comprehensive construction, renovation and maintenance services for baseball and softball fields at all levels of play—Little League, community, high school and college, and professional. Since inception, SFS has constructed or worked on hundreds of ballfields throughout the New Jersey / Pennsylvania area.
The company specializes in full field renovations. This includes constructing or reconstructing bullpens and batting cages, rebuilding pitcher’s mounds and home plate areas, and grooming infields.
